Acceptable Use Policy
Rules for lawful, safe, and responsible use of The AI Platform, the Miniapp SDK, miniapps, and related services.
Effective July 15, 2026
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies when you access or use The AI Platform, the Miniapp SDK, the miniapp marketplace, our websites, hosted services, APIs, and related software and services (collectively, the "Services"). It supplements the agreements and policies that otherwise govern your use of the Services.
You are responsible for your applications, content, users, integrations, data, decisions, and results. You must use the Services lawfully and must obtain all rights, authorizations, notices, and consents required for your use.
2. High-impact and regulated uses
High-impact and regulated uses are allowed; they are not prohibited merely because they involve a regulated field or consequential decision. You use the Services for those purposes entirely at your own risk. The Services and Miniapp SDK are provided as is and are not a substitute for professional judgment, legal compliance, or controls appropriate to your field.
If your use could materially affect a person's health, safety, liberty, employment, housing, education, insurance, credit, access to essential services, legal rights, or another similarly significant interest, you must:
- comply with all laws, regulations, professional duties, and standards;
- use appropriately qualified professional and meaningful human review where warranted or required;
- independently evaluate outputs for accuracy, suitability, bias, and safety before acting on them;
- provide required notices, explanations, choices, and appeal or correction mechanisms;
- obtain required consent and authorization for personal, confidential, or regulated data; and
- maintain appropriate security, testing, monitoring, recordkeeping, and incident-response safeguards.
You must not represent that Zephyr Cloud has approved, certified, or validated your regulated use, decision, advice, or compliance program.
3. Prohibited conduct
You must not use the Services to:
- violate applicable law, a court order, contractual obligations, or the legal rights of another person;
- facilitate fraud, deception, harassment, threats, stalking, discrimination, exploitation, violence, or other abusive or harmful conduct;
- create, deliver, control, conceal, or assist malware, destructive code, ransomware, credential theft, phishing, or unauthorized surveillance;
- bypass access controls, usage limits, authentication, authorization, security measures, or technical restrictions, or obtain or use credentials without authorization;
- disrupt, overload, degrade, probe, scan, or test systems or networks without authorization, except for research permitted by our Security and Responsible Disclosure Policy;
- infringe or misappropriate intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, data-protection, or other rights;
- collect, process, disclose, or retain data without a lawful basis and the required notices, consents, and safeguards; or
- use the Miniapp SDK, non-public Services, Platform output, or access obtained through them to extract or substantially reproduce material non-public Zephyr Cloud technology in a competing miniapp platform, marketplace, runtime, SDK, or other substitute offering.
The competitive-platform restriction does not prohibit ordinary applications, lawful interoperability, independent research, criticism, security research under our disclosure policy, noncompetitive model development, or truthful public benchmarking that identifies its methodology and material limitations.
4. Security and access
Protect credentials, tokens, signing keys, accounts, and user data under your control. Use only the access and permissions you are authorized to use. Promptly address vulnerabilities in your applications and report suspected vulnerabilities in our Services under our Security and Responsible Disclosure Policy.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may limit, suspend, or terminate access, remove marketplace content, preserve relevant information, or make reports when we reasonably believe action is necessary to protect users, the Services, third parties, or the public, or to comply with law. Any action is subject to applicable law and the agreements governing the relevant Service.
6. Changes and prior versions
We may update this policy prospectively. A new version applies no earlier than its stated effective date. We will publish the current effective date and retain dated versions at the version links on this page. If an agreement requires additional notice, we will provide it as required. Continued use after an updated policy takes effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
