Create channels from Browse Channels, plus a round of chat and workflow fixes
You can now spin up a new channel without leaving the Browse Channels dialog, and channels, workflows, and settings get a batch of reliability fixes.
You can now create a channel without leaving the Browse Channels dialog, and this release rounds out a batch of fixes across channels, specialists, workflows, and settings.
Create a channel without leaving Browse Channels
Open Browse channels and you’ll find a Create channel button right in the dialog header. Click it and the browse view steps aside for the create-channel flow, so starting a new channel no longer means backing out and hunting for a separate entry point.
Polish & fixes
Opening a channel no longer hangs on an endless loading state when its history is slow to load. Channel creation and membership checks now apply the correct permissions, so you can create and join channels without spurious errors. Mention and notification badges have a cleaner, more consistent look, and the notification badge in the title bar no longer flickers on hover.
Specialists reliably reach the tools you’ve connected to them, and you can open the Add Server dialog straight from a specialist’s Connect button. Tool activity now streams cleanly as a specialist works.
Workflow runs show each step’s real display name in the progress overlay, the Execute dialog no longer pre-fills a placeholder repository, and runs that read from a database now do so safely in read-only mode. Workflows that pull from version control require a saved source before they run, and the node palette tooltips behave consistently as you hover.
In settings, members without admin access no longer see a raw permissions error on the Credentials tab, and the option to scope a new server to a project is disabled when there are no projects to choose from.
