Search your chats and updates that install themselves
Search across every conversation, get automatic updates on startup, send messages that confirm faster, and let the right specialist answer.
This release lets you search across every conversation, keeps the app up to date on its own, makes sending messages feel snappier, and gets the right specialist to answer when more than one is in the room.
Search across your chats
You can now search your conversations to find any message. Open search from anywhere, or press cmd-F inside a channel to search within it. Selecting a result jumps you straight to that message and highlights it, so you can stop scrolling back through history to find what someone said.
Updates that install themselves
The app now checks for a new version when it starts and shows you a native prompt to install it. You stay on the latest release without hunting for a download or wondering whether you're up to date.
Faster, smoother messaging
Sending a message is quicker, and messages now confirm as sent sooner, so the conversation keeps pace with you instead of lagging a beat behind.
Richer messages and reliable file sharing
Your own messages now render markdown, so a fenced code block comes through as a highlighted, copyable block and inline code, bold, and lists format the way you'd expect — matching how specialist replies already look. Sharing files works reliably across more of your conversations, including direct messages, so attachments go through where they used to fail.
The right specialist answers
In a channel with more than one specialist, the one whose expertise fits your message now answers, instead of whichever specialist happened to reply last. Ask for a marketing image and your image specialist responds; switch to a code question and your code specialist takes over. Specialists also surface an error when they can't save their work, instead of failing silently and leaving you unsure whether anything happened.
Cleaner channels and direct messages
You can now leave a project channel directly from its row in the list. Direct messages are tidier too: unread counts, names, and navigation on the rail are accurate, clicking a direct message from another workspace takes you straight to the conversation, and a direct message no longer briefly flashes on the wrong icon. Project channel unread counts are now correct, and conversation history you've brought over keeps its original timestamps.
Polish & fixes
The Browse Channels dialog is wider with aligned footer buttons. Avatars, layout alignment, and profile pictures render correctly in message rows again. The assistant dock no longer shows a duplicate conversation header. The task detail view has a cleaner layout and controls. The specialist picker no longer lists the same specialist twice. Empty-state buttons are sized down, and the secondary sidebar comes back as you navigate. Disabled rail icons stay visible, with a few rail polish fixes. Knowledge Garden item counts no longer count a source and its file twice. Behind the scenes, connection security and stability were tightened.
