iOS navigation, clearer chat recovery, and safer specialist context
The iOS app has real navigation, chat explains more failures, and specialists now receive attached images as pixels instead of fragile references.
This release gives the mobile app a proper way to move around, makes chat failures easier to understand and recover from, and tightens the boundary between specialists and the data they use. It also includes a broad pass over focus behavior, menus, navigation, and privacy-sensitive telemetry.
iOS has real navigation
The iOS app now has a wired navigation experience instead of treating mobile screens as isolated destinations. WebSocket connections also carry compiled-in TLS roots, making secure connections more reliable on iOS.
Chat explains what went wrong
Channel joins now recover from transient service and projection failures instead of leaving the channel stuck. When access is blocked, chat distinguishes that from an ordinary loading failure, and retired-model errors explain that the selected model is no longer available rather than pointing users toward their credentials.
Desktop channel rows are more compact, live voice sessions use a simpler roster control, and relocated identity reads can recover through a bounded replay. Together, these changes make busy channels more resilient without hiding the reason something failed.
Specialists handle images and discovery better
Attached chat images now reach specialists as pixel data, so image-capable requests do not depend on a fragile attachment reference surviving the entire turn. Missing specialist harness digests are reported distinctly, and opening Marketplace now takes users to specialist discovery directly.
Git integration is now delivered through a Miniapp, giving it a clearer product boundary and making the integration easier to evolve independently.
Sign-in failures are easier to identify
The desktop sign-in card is centered, and production issuer mismatches are classified separately from ordinary credential failures. Authentication problems now point more clearly to the right recovery path.
More privacy and safer foundations
PostHog and Sentry session replay are disabled, reducing the amount of visual session data collected from the product. The MCP runtime was upgraded to address security advisories, and the release includes a set of infrastructure and CI changes that improve build reliability without changing the app’s normal workflow.
A calmer, more accessible interface
Focus behavior now stays predictable across chat controls, tooltips, menus, and navigation. Transcript author runs are grouped more clearly, the mention overlay remains inside the composer, and menus share the same radius and border treatment. Usage breakdown tabs are contained correctly, and the global navigation rail now uses circular icons for a more consistent desktop shell.
