A prompt-first Home, clearer navigation, and faster workflows

TAP 2.26.0 gives the workspace a prompt-first Home, brings Activity and replies to more surfaces, and makes startup and navigation faster.

This release gives TAP a more direct starting point, a clearer workspace layout, and a faster path to the conversations and tools teams use every day. It also expands Activity and reply support across mobile and chat, while improving miniapp, specialist, and integration reliability.

A prompt-first workspace Home

The workspace Home is now built around what you want to do next. A prompt-first starting point makes it easier to begin a conversation, launch a workflow, or find the right workspace surface without first navigating through an empty shell.

Workspace secondary navigation has been redesigned to make the relationship between the main areas easier to follow. The Apps rail remains distinct from Settings, including in short windows, and workspace navigation now has a more consistent structure across the desktop experience.

Activity and replies across more surfaces

Activity notifications now have a dedicated mobile row with viewer-safe context, making workspace activity easier to follow away from the desktop. Direct-message replies let conversations branch into focused threads without losing their surrounding context.

Chat and voice also gain a set of smaller but useful improvements: specialist dispatch failures preserve their original details, active meetings appear above the composer, transient voice negotiation conflicts retry without replacing the session, and camera previews are mirrored consistently.

Faster startup, settings, and room changes

TAP now avoids unnecessary work while it starts and while you move around the app. Workspace home and recent-room data stay warm without stale access, settings can load without waiting for the full model catalog, and the canonical model catalog is lazy instead of being fetched on every room open or boot.

These changes make the path to frequently used screens and conversations faster, especially for workspaces with large model catalogs and substantial activity.

Safer team and integration workflows

Workspace administrators can now send reviewed bulk invitations, giving larger membership changes a clearer approval boundary. Chloe supports more flexible GitHub issue filters, Bedrock settings reflect saved credential state, and miniapps receive reliability improvements across publishing, member assignment, and provider-authored file mounts.

The release also improves file-watch behavior, connected-service readback, updater behavior, and workspace switching. Together, these changes make it easier to understand failures and keep work moving across local and hosted resources.
